The New Year has brought about change for five star property Pacific Resort Aitutaki (PRA) and has seen the appointment of new Resort General Manager, Norman Luxemburg. Pacific Resort Hotel Group (PRHG) announced that Luxemburg has taken up the role following the departure of David Castaño, who was at the helm of PRA since 2016. Luxemburg assumed leadership at Pacific Resort Aitutaki effective 12 January 2018.
Luxemburg, an American hospitality professional and leader, comes highly-experienced in the management of exclusive luxury resorts and has managed five star level establishments in remote and exotic locales. Luxemburg has managed an extensive range of properties globally over the past two decades including properties affiliated with Leading Hotels of the World, Virtuoso, Relais and Chateaux.
Recent positions have seen Luxemburg manage COMO Hotels & Resorts in the Kingdom of Bhutan, The Bedford Post in Bedford, New York, Belmond Napasai, Koh Samui, Thailand and the Commune by the Great Wall, Beijing, China. Luxemburg has also served as a consultant on the development and operation of several other hotels, resorts and luxury private villa properties.
PRHG’s CEO, Marcus Niszow confirmed the new appointment of with the following statement “Norman is an attentive, “hands-on” style manager who leads by example and likes to work closely with his team to ensure consistent product excellence and exceptional guest service”.
