Well, what a year it has been! A year without precedent and one in which our world has irretrievably changed.
Like others around the world, here in the Cook Islands, we are looking forward to the New Year and a new start, all the while getting used a new normal.
While we will not forget the year that was, and all those that have suffered loss during that time, we look forward with hope to the future and wish all the very best to every one around the world.
One thing that will not change is the tradition of ‘new years resolutions’, and one thing that 2020 has taught us, is the need to take care of our health. The easiest way to start this is to get out there and exercise – so that’s our resolution!
Here in the Cook Islands, there is always something going on to get involved with, and one of the big events on the calendar is the Aitutaki – Pursuit in Paradise Marathon!
Offering three race courses that criss-cross the tiny island, each step revealing the natural beauty of Aitutaki, runners/walkers can choose from the 10km course, half marathon 21.1km course and the full 42.2km marathon course.
Unfortunately the event could not go ahead this year but please click on the video below for what will be on offer instead in 2021!
