Pacific Resort Hotel Group (PRHG), along with its partner properties, received multiple nominations and awards at the prestigious World Travel Award ceremony for 2018. This year the World Travel Awards celebrated its 25th anniversary, with the Asia & Australasia gala awards ceremony held on 3rd September 2018 at the InterContinental Grand Stanford, Hong Kong. Award nominations received by PRHG properties included Cook Islands’ Leading Boutique Hotel 2018, Cook Islands’ Leading Resort 2018 and Cook Islands’ Leading Villa Resort 2018.
For the tenth year running, Little Polynesian Resort was named as Cook Islands’ Leading Boutique Hotel 2018. Pacific Resort Aitutaki Nui was proud to accept the award for Cook Islands’ Leading Resort for 2018, and Te Manava Luxury Villas & Spa became the recipient of Cook Islands’ Leading Villa Resort 2018.
These awards are not unfamiliar to the Pacific Resort accolade collections, with Pacific Resort Aitutaki Nui having previously won Cook Islands’ Leading Resort eight times, consecutively from 2007 to 2013, and most recently in 2017. Te Manava Luxury Villas & Spa previously won Cook Islands’ Leading Villa Resort, holding the title from 2009 to 2011, then again from 2014 to 2016. Pacific Resort Rarotonga, Moana Sands Beachfront Hotel and Royale Takitumu were amongst other resorts named as nominees for these award titles.
The World Travel Awards program rewards and celebrates excellence across the travel, tourism and hospitality industries worldwide. Each year the World Travel Awards covers the globe on their Grand Tour, celebrating recipients with a series of regional gala ceremonies.
PRHG properties consistently strive to deliver absolute guest satisfaction, providing quality accommodation and a level of comfort and service that not only meets, but exceeds the expectations of each and every guest.
The nominations and continuous receipt of World Travel Awards is both recognition and a reflection of the hard work and dedication of the PRHG properties.
