Pacific Resort Supports Fashion for a Cure

Pacific Resort Hotel Group and Pacific Resort Rarotonga were proud to support Breast Cancer Cure at their Fashion for a Cure event in Auckland this year. Breast Cancer Cure remains New Zealand’s only not-for-profit organisation dedicated solely to finding a cure for breast cancer.

A Memorable Evening

The event took place on 21 June 2019 in Newmarket. More than 250 guests enjoyed a three-course dinner created by acclaimed New Zealand chef Simon Gault. In addition, they viewed the latest season collections from leading New Zealand designers. A live auction added to the excitement and raised $89,000 to support ongoing breast cancer research.

Pacific Resort Rarotonga’s Contribution

Pacific Resort Rarotonga donated a five-night stay for two in a Premium Garden Suite to the charity auction. The prize was won by Philippa Mayne (Pip), who also acted as MC for the evening. Pip will soon enjoy her well-deserved getaway in the Cook Islands, travelling with her husband for rest and relaxation in paradise.
