Pacific Resort Hotel Group and Pacific Resort Rarotonga are delighted to have supported Breast Cancer Cure with their “Fashion for a Cure” event in Auckland this year. Breast Cancer Cure is New Zealand’s only not-for-profit organisation established solely to find a cure for breast cancer.
The event took place on the 21st June 2019 in Newmarket with 250 guests who enjoyed a 3 course dining experience created by New Zealand chef, Simon Gault. In addition to the dinner, guests were able to view the latest season collections from leading New Zealand designers and a live auction which raised $89,000 to further fund their research into breast cancer.
Pacific Resort Rarotonga donated a 5 night stay for two people in a Premium Garden Suite to the fundraiser auction which went to the lovely Philippa Mayne (Pip, pictured above) who was also the MC for the event. Pip will be travelling to our beautiful paradise with her husband for some much needed rest and relaxation.
