Pacific Resort Hotel Group has received five international awards at the 33rd annual World Travel Awards and 12th annual World Spa Awards.
Together, the awards recognise four PRHG properties across Rarotonga and Aitutaki. They recognise boutique accommodation, resorts, villas and spa services.
World Travel Awards 2026
The 2026 World Travel Awards recognise achievement across the global travel and tourism industry. Awards are presented at country, regional and world levels.
Importantly, travel professionals and consumers worldwide vote for the winners.
Pacific Resort Aitutaki received two Cook Islands awards:
• Cook Islands’ Leading Resort 2026
• Cook Islands’ Leading Villa Resort 2026
Meanwhile, Little Polynesian received:
• Cook Islands’ Leading Boutique Hotel 2026
In addition, Pacific Resort Rarotonga received:
• Oceania’s Leading Boutique Resort 2026
Together, these awards recognise different forms of accommodation across the Pacific Resort Hotel Group collection. They include boutique stays, resort accommodation and villa stays in the Cook Islands.
World Spa Awards 2026
The recognition also extends to Tiare Spa at Pacific Resort Aitutaki.
This year, Tiare Spa received the title of Cook Islands’ Best Resort Spa 2026 at the 12th annual World Spa Awards.
Established in 2015, the World Spa Awards recognise achievement across the global spa and wellness tourism industry. The annual programme covers spas, wellness retreats, brands and experiences.
As a result, the award adds to Tiare Spa’s history of recognition through the World Spa Awards. It also recognises the spa’s contribution to the Cook Islands’ spa and wellness offering.
Five International Awards Across the Cook Islands
Overall, the five awards recognise accommodation and spa services across Pacific Resort Hotel Group’s properties in Rarotonga and Aitutaki.
In addition, the recognition adds to the Group’s history across international travel, tourism and spa awards. It also reflects the range of experiences offered across its properties.
