Pacific Resort Hotel Group nominated at the 2017 World Travel Awards

Pacific Resort Hotel Group (PRHG) is pleased to announce their multiple nominations for the 24th annual World Travel Awards. All of the Hotel Management Groups properties have received nominations this year, proving their continued success within the awards programme.

The World Travel Awards identifies and rewards global product excellence within the travel, tourism and hospitality industry each year and are considered the most prestigious and comprehensive award programme in the travel industry.

Award recipients are selected by online vote by both travel professionals and consumers. Voting will conclude on 17th April 2017, with awards presented on 4th June 2017 at the Asia & Australasia Gala Ceremony at the Grand Kempinski Hotel Shanghai, China.

Pacific Resort Aitutaki has received an impressive six nominations at this year’s World Travel Awards. The resort aims to preserve their title of Australasia’s Leading Resort for another year and attain other awards within their additional nomination categories including Cook Islands’ Leading Resort, Cook Islands’ Leading Villa Resort, as well as Australasia’s Leading Boutique Island Resort, Australasia’s Leading Boutique Resort and Australasia’s Leading Villa Resort.

The 5 Star Te Manava Luxury Villas & Spa hopes to retain their title as the Cook Islands’ Leading Villa Resort and have also been nominated for Australasia’s Leading Resort, as well as Australasia’s Leading Villa Resort.

As the consistent winner of the Cook Islands’ Leading Boutique Hotel award since 2008, Little Polynesian Resort sets to retain their title again this year at the 2017 World Travel Awards. Little Polynesian Resort, the most recent addition under PRHG’s management umbrella, has also been nominated for Cook Islands’ Leading Resort for 2017.

Pacific Resort Rarotonga, one of the top family resorts in Rarotonga has annually received recognition at the World Travel Awards as Australasia’s Leading Family Resort for the past three consecutive years.  This year has seen Pacific Resort Rarotonga nominated a fourth time for this award with additional awards nominations of Cook Islands’ Leading Resort and Australasia’s Leading Boutique Resort.  

Recognition by the World Travel Awards will provide PRHG with increased global visibility and opportunities, Pacific Resort Hotel Group are proud that all five properties have been nominated for such prestigious awards.
