The awards season is in full swing and Pacific Resort Hotel Group (PRHG) have walked away from two awards ceremonies set in two separate continents as winners over the weekend.
PRHG is honoured to be among the winners of the esteemed World Travel Awards (WTA) in the 2016 Asia & Australasia regional competition. The properties competed against a number of high profile hoteliers in the region to achieve a number of prestigious accolades.
The awards were announced at a high profile gala dinner at the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort in Danang, Vietnam on 15 October. Hundreds of leaders from across the hospitality industry attended the red carpet ceremony, with the best among them recognised with WTA trophies.
Once again, Pacific Resort Rarotonga has taken home a variety of awards including; Australasia’s Leading Boutique Resort, Australasia’s Leading Family Resort and Cook Islands’ Leading Resort which endorses their well established reputation as Rarotonga’s leading full service boutique resort and further builds upon their vast cabinet of accolades.
Five star resort Pacific Resort Aitutaki continued its long achievement history with WTA and for the third consecutive year has been awarded Australasia’s Leading Resort 2016, an outstanding achievement for the resort and for the Cook Islands.
Te Manava Luxury Villas & Spa has been recognised for its outstanding service and stunning villa complex and also for the third consecutive year has retained its title as the Cook Islands’ Leading Villa Resort 2016.
Whilst PRHG were celebrating their success in Vietnam, Chief Executive Officer, Greg Stanaway was attending the 2016 Seven Stars Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Awards gala in Marbella, Spain for their 4th annual event at the magnificent Villa Padierna Palace Hotel where both Pacific Resort Aitutaki and Te Manava Luxury Villas & Spa received the ‘Signum Virtutis’, the Seal of Excellence.
The weekend’s success adds to an already impressive collection of international and local awards won by the Pacific Resort Hotel Group for 2016. Such achievements reflect PRHG’s core mission of outstanding product and quality service to ensure unrivaled guest experiences throughout their properties.
