Pacific Resort Hotel Group Supports Woolworths Variety Charity Ball

On Saturday 9 November 2019, Pacific Resort Hotel Group joined forces with Variety and the Woolworths Group to celebrate the Woolworths Variety Charity Ball.

A Night of Celebration and Purpose

The Gala Ball is an annual highlight. It celebrates a year of fundraising with supporters, suppliers, and staff. More importantly, it raises vital funds for Variety – the Children’s Charity.

Variety supports children and families facing challenges such as sickness, disadvantage, or disability. Their work gives children mobility and freedom. It helps them get out into the community, communicate with confidence, achieve independence, and build self-esteem. Where possible, Variety also helps children integrate into mainstream schools and activities.

Pacific Resort Hotel Group’s Contribution

This year, Pacific Resort Hotel Group proudly sponsored one of three major live auction prizes. The package included six nights for two at Pacific Resort Aitutaki, our award-winning property. Thanks to generous bidding, the prize sold for an impressive $8,000.

These funds, together with the total raised during the Gala, will directly support Variety’s mission of helping children in need. The success of the evening was possible because of the combined efforts of every guest and supporter.
